The Yaccarino Family can't wait to host you at their Family Chalet! Imagine pulling up to this authentic mountain chalet and instantly feeling like you are worlds away from your hectic life. This beautiful home is adorned with tasteful mountain decor and makes you feel instantly at home in this wooded retreat! You only need to step out the front door to walk right across the street and over to the Locust Lake beach with a great playground, shuffleboard, and picnic area! Built by a lovely couple in 1970 as a vacation home for their large family of six children, this mountain chalet has been welcoming guests for over 50 years! The Yaccarinos spent their winters skating and skiing in the village and Jack Frost and their summers riding dirt bikes around the village and swimming in the lakes. In addition to continuing the tradition of hosting other families in this very special home, Chryssa Yaccarino, the second-generation owner of Yaccarino's Dinkyville, has carefully updated the cabin installing modern amenities while maintaining the charm of the home her parents built with love. Check out the large screened-in porch and expansive outdoor deck with ample seating for all. There are TWO wood-burning fireplaces (one downstairs and one upstairs), a fire pit, three flat-screen TVs with Roku devices, and many streaming options and, of course, hi-speed WiFi, Alexa, and a Bluetooth Speaker. For those "unplugged" days and nights, there are plenty of board games, puzzles, and books. This home also features a split unit A/C, propane grill, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, new stainless refrigerator, and oven, as well as a washer and dryer. Every guest will find a special place in this beautiful mountain home to enjoy their stay! Beach chairs, an umbrella, 2 paddle boards with life vests, and a corn hole set are available for outdoor entertainment. Wood & propane: Wood is supplied for the fireplaces and fire pit, and propane tanks are supplied for the grill. The fully appointed kitchen has plenty of plates, cups, flatware for all guests, and all essential cooking utensils and oil and spices. Coffee and Tea are supplied. The large dining table seats ten (with leaf). Our screened-in porch table seats at least 6 and there is a picnic table on the outdoor porch for additional outdoor dining options. Laundry and dish detergent are supplied, as well as paper goods including napkins, paper towels, and toilet paper. PLEASE NOTE: Linens: There are plenty of pillows and blankets for all beds and sleeper sofas. We offer a great choice! Although most guests prefer to bring their favorite bed linens, towels, and washcloths. Optionally, fresh sanitized linens, bed sheets, and towels can be rented.
